☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: What was the vision for The Monkey Firm when it first emerged as an idea? Is there a story behind the project you can share?

Mark B — Visionary APE: Well, I’ll start with an introduction. I am Mark Berisha, CEO of APEcoin, MFRM, and one of the founders of BUSTA. I got involved in crypto about 7 years ago as an investor, became a full time trader about three years ago, and then 14 months ago, me and a group of crypto enthusiasts launched the APECoin ecosystem, basically an incubator for crytpto projects which thus far has spawned memefarm.io and busta.gg.

MemeFarm was our first foray into farming rewards as well as the NFT game. We did a fair launch and utilized the farm for token distribution in lieu of an IDO, seems like 10 years ago.

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: It feels like 10 years ago.

Hazel B: You may notice we are throwing around “The Monkey Firm” as of late. This is us transitioning from MemeFarm and we are currently in the midst our soft rebranding. We have a lot of ideas our our sleeve and this rebrand allows for more flexibility to incorporate them. Pretty exciting times for sure!!!

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: What is the connection between The Monkey Firm and APECoin? Is Coin King still around? lol. I might have some video footage lying around somewhere of him…

Hazel B: Coin King is in a lockdown atm, but we chat most days.

league of beggars: The Monkey Firm is an official APECoin project. We have called APE a “developers token” since the beginning, and it’s where everything started. People ape into trades, we ape into building. When we have a cool idea that we think will work, we build it, and APE holders will always get a piece of the action.

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: I think I’ve held my APECoin for nearly a year now.

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: Very interesting! What is unique about your new Token Backed NFTs? Why create them?

Hazel B: It really is a super simple solution to what is viewed to be a very complex problem. They are designed to disrupt the OTC market, which is worth billions! Even more exciting is we are first to market on this…Let me tell ya a little about how this will work.

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: Please do. NFTS are the craze these days, so I am looking forward to all the new innovative ideas that come out.

Hazel B: It is really exciting times! Adding perpetual utility to NFTs which are typically viewed to be just “a pretty picture”. So, with our solution we tackle a few headaches which are a part of the OTC market: Timezone issues, escrow agreements, high fees. Our one click solution eliminates these issues with a simple click on a URL. It works like this:

Simply connect your metamask, you select the amount you would like to sell and how much for. It can be ANY BEP20 coin/token you like. You mint this information into an NFT on MFRM, the tokens you are selling will then be wrapped in this NFT. Once you have listed your NFT for sale, copy the link address and share it with any potential buyer. It is that simple! Just as simple on the buyer too!!! They connect through metamask, click on the buy button, then redeem their purchased tokens into their wallet. I have a couple of visuals which give a more in depth look… sec.

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: Can you outline The Monkey Firm’s Revenue model? How are you planning on generating revenue and profit long term?

league of beggars: Our revenue model for MFRM is very simple, token backed NFT’s as well as the marketplace have a 1% fee that us then returned to our hodler monkeys in form of buybacks/burns, added permanent liquidity and staking rewards, as soon as our new shiny staking platform is ready.

Mark B — Visionary APE: One of the huge benefits for our coins being listed on BUSTA DEX is the ability to have customizable transaction fees. So, we get an additional benefit to MFRM and APE holders there.

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: So, I guess it was a good idea to hold onto my APE and MFRM since the beginning of time?

Mark B — Visionary APE: We have broken down the following fee structure for each token below:

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: Can you tell us a bit more about your other incubated project BUSTA? The connection between the projects is certainly noted.

Mark B — Visionary APE: There are two main aspects to the BUSTA project. The BUSTA DEX as well as the the BUSTACrash game. https://crash.busta.gg/.

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: Can you explain how the BUSTACrash game works?

league of beggars: The game is the legendary Moneypot/Bustabit completely rebuilt from scratch. Crypto people have loved crash games ever since Moneypot in 2014 and we made it better and more fun. The full version (soon tm) will be the best crash game ever created. The game is easy to play, you watch the number go up and try to exit before it crashes.

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: It’s great seeing more games introduced into crypto. It’s exciting that you have one of the first on BSC!

Hazel B: BUSTA is an APECoin project too, so the relationship there is very close. We recently moved 90% of our liquidity to the BUSTA DEX, which is exceptionally exciting!

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: Check out the video everyone! So, what are the plans for the future of your ecosystem?

Mark B — Visionary APE: Well beyond Token Backed NFTS, we have a number of NFTs with utility that we will be rolling out over the next few quarters. We will be a launching additional games on the BUSTA platform over the next couple of months

Hazel B: We can also see MFRM NFT utility being integrated for both games and of course BUSTA DEX — partnerships are already in formation with projects such as the awesome Neural Pepe team who are about to launch their V2 tokenomics.

Hazel B: We are also in discussion with GameStation who are about to do an IDO. We will also be pushing partnerships to list as many partner tokens as we can on BUSTA DEX — this will be a huge focus for us, esp when we go multichain. The rest we are keeping close to our chests atm.

Hazel B: Yeah yeah, that is the goal for all our projects. Starting ETH and Poly, we will then look at the likes of SOL etc.

☆CryptoGirlfriend☆: What are your views regarding the future of NFTs? Are they here to stay?

Hazel B: We truly do believe the virtual space is here to stay and people over all are becoming more accustomed to playing in these virtual spaces. NFTs are a natural extension of this and the desire to own digital assets will become the norm. Not only will you have that pretty virtual picture hanging on your virtual wall you will be living in that virtual space with perpetual utility NFTs surrounding you.

Gem Lover: How old is your project and What benefits does “MonkeyFirm” offer to its followers and community members?

Mark B — Visionary APE: Our project is over 14 months old, long time holders will benefit from the company revenue from our NFT sales as well as the buyback and burns from the BUSTA DEX, additionally NFT rewards will continue to be distributed to our core community.

IRENE: — Can you explain how MFRM will generate revenue and what fees you will charge projects?

Mark B — Visionary APE: Yes you can currently earn MFRM and NFT rewards through farming on at mfrm.io. Starting next month, we will switch to a staking model.
