APECOIN DEV UPDATE: 02/28/21

Hello Apes!

LOTS of IMPORTANT updates today.

Firstly, please check out APEcoin.dev— we’ve polished the website a little bit this week.

This is a KEY update on all TIMING considerations for our “big move” to Binance Smart Chain (BSC):

1. Ethereum-based MemeFarm.io farming will STOP in 24 hours!

• The last remaining Ethereum pools, $APE/ETH and $MFRM/ETH, will shut down in 24 hours time — Make sure to withdraw from the farming pools once they are turned off!

2. APEcoin will move to BSC! (Expected March 3rd or 4th)

• 10 million $APE tokens are being minted on BSC
• A simple 1-time airdrop will occur mid this week. Make sure your $APE is sitting in YOUR wallet before the airdrop!
• This means for every 1 $APE you hold in your ETH wallet, you will receive 1 $APE into your BSC Wallet. (The private keys are the same — they will just ‘show up’ in your wallet when logging into BSC).

3. $MFRM token is ALSO moving to BSC! (Expected March 3rd or 4th)

• Once farming on ETH finishes in 24 hours, we will take a snapshot of the # of $MFRM. We estimate around 7m MFRM.
• We will then Mint 14m $MFRM on BSC — this accommodates all existing $MFRM holders and key partners who will take MemeFarm to the next level.
• A simple 1-time airdrop will occur mid this week. Make sure your $MFRM is sitting in YOUR wallet before the airdrop!
• This means for every 1 $MFRM you hold in your ETH wallet, you will receive 1 $MFRM into your BSC Wallet. (The private keys are the same — they will just ‘show up’ in your wallet when logging into BSC).
• From there, you will be able to add liquidity to a MFRM/BNB pair on PancakeSwap.Finance and other binance AMM’s + use your BSC $MFRM to join farming pools once they go live.

4. MemeFarm.io Launch on BSC! (Expected March 5th or 6th)

• BOOM! Finally you will be able to farm $MFRM and NFT’s on BSC!
• Once farming begins on BSC, new $MFRM tokens will continue to be emitted at the same rate as before. $MFRM farming rewards are expected to continue for ~6 months, until we hit the cap of 21 million total $MFRM tokens.
• Pools will be: MFRM/BNB and APE/BNB for higher payouts & $CAKE/BNB, $POOLZ/BNB for normal payouts / SAFU pools.

5. $BUST coin has also been minted on BSC — the Airdrop is booked for 14th March.

• For every 1 $APE you hold IN YOUR OWN WALLET ON THIS DATE, you will receive 1 $BUST. Any $APE in pools will not count — so you may wish to unstake from farming pools, just to capture this airdrop on the 14th
• We are giving away 10m via Airdrop to $APE holders on the 14th. There will be NO token-sale for BUST. There will be future airdrops and partnerships which GREATLY benefit both $APE holders and $BUST holders in March, April and May — lots of big things have been lined up!

As you can see — there are a lot of connected moving pieces — but it’s fairly straight forward:

The summary / TLDR:

1. In 24 hours keep your $MFRM and $APE self in YOUR OWN WALLET to receive the BSC coins.
2. Then hold APE on the 14th of March IN YOUR OWN WALLET to receive your $BUST coins also.
3. That’s it! — the BSC $MFRM and $APE coins will airdrop to your existing wallets.

Development update:

We have two brands & two development paths.

1 for all things MemeFarm / NFTs and 1 for all things ‘Bust A BNB’ game

MemeFarm.io:

Moving to BSC and partnering with various amazing BSC startups/pools is big-brain APE stuff — this is a priority and working out well so far!

• We have an exciting collection of NFTs lined up, which farmers will absolutely want to try and farm! (A stand-alone announcement will be published closer to MemeFarm BSC Launch).

BustAbnb.com:

A basic landing page went up today, to give you a hint at the fun playful design this game will be using — we hope you like it. If you are wondering, yes that thing on the bottom left is a “BanAlien”!

With so much going on migrating to BSC this week, we will publish more details about Bust A BNB next week — a few days ahead of the 15th Airdrop!
