Nostalgia is the best drug! Even in NFT Land!

The Nintendo Gameboy is over 30 years old! For some, this will make you feel like a geriatric Ape! However, that can’t take away from the appeal of the chunky grey lump of plastic which gave so many hours of entertainment.

For some, it wasn’t just a flashy toy. It was the start of a lifelong love of handheld gaming. Every game, even the bad ones, felt just that more important as you could play them anywhere! At the time, this was the prime of technology, and it was also how APE team originally learned to throw barrels in the all-time Donkey Kong Classic!

Sadly, the days are gone with protruding maroon and black buttons. We want to change that. We want to meld the modern day of NFTs with the nostalgia of a handheld device.

We have joined forces with a mad ape of an engineer who has revolutionised the look of our favourite grey brick.

We have 2 original and unique Gameboys ready to be farmed on memefarm.io. They will be represented by a Gameboy NFT and should you be the lucky winner, you will be able to redeem your NFT through our website and be sent your physical Gameboy.

This is proof that NFTs can go beyond the pretty pictures so many people are associating with an NFT. It represents ownership of a physical item.

To be in to win one of these nifty pieces of history, you will need to be farming on our APE and/or MFRM Chad pools and a winner will be selected at random from each. That way everyone has a chance, no matter how small your stack!

The epoch will begin at 9am PDT / 12pm EDT / 4pm UTC on the17th May 2021.

The first reward date of your utility NFT which can be redeemed for your Gameboy will be on 31st May 2021. The winners will be drawn at random to make sure every farmer, no matter if their banana stack is big or small, has a chance to win!
